• Construction of the pedestrian and bicycle route "Baana" in the railway pit starts

2010

• Planning of the temporary parks south of Töölönlahdenkatu in progress 
• Construction of the pedestrian and bicycle route "Baana" in the railway pit in progress
• The expansion project of the Finladia Hall begins
• The project plan of the Central Library is finished and discussed in the City Council by the end of year 2010

2011

• Music Centre is completed, opening on August 31st, 2011
• The temporary parks south of Töölönlahdenkatu are finished

2012

• Helsinki is the World Design Capital and the Finlandiapark is a main stage for the events of the year
• The 200th anniversary of Helsinki as the capital city
• "Baana" is finished
• Töölönlahti Parking Centre is completed
• CarTrain station is transferred to Pasila

2013-2016

• The park of the area’s north side (Töölönlahti Park) is completed
• Finlandia Park in its entity is completed
• The blocks along the railway line are completed
