What is Finlandia Park?
Finlandia Park is an urban oasis for residents and tourists alike, where culture, politics, tourism and the media world meet.
The Finlandia Park entity will be part of the city’s active core. Besides different theme parks and squares, Finlandia Park will encompass the new Music Centre, Finlandia Hall congress and concert centre, the National Opera, the City Museum and Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art. Finlandia Park is skirted by the Main Post Office and Library 10, the National Gallery, Parliament House, the Main Railway Station, the National Theatre, the City Theatre, the Winter Garden, Kaisaniemi Park, Kamppi Commercial Centre with bus station and Sanomatalo media house.

- Total floor area to be constructed abt. 103 000 sqm
- Music Centre 28 000 sqm
- Business and office premises 75 000 sqm
- of which housing units (some 100 units) totalling 6 000 sqm - 2 500 workplaces
- 700 student places
- 650 parking places in the parking house
- Streets 3,2 hectares
- Squares 1,7 hectares
- Parks 10,6 hectares

The pictures are in accordance with the town plan endorsed in 2004. The plan of the parking centre dates from 2001. The conceptual pictures will be made more accurate along with the progress in planning.
